American artist, curator, author and activist, Harmony Hammond was a pivotal figure in the feminist art movement during the 1970s and co-founded A.I.R, the first women’s cooperative art gallery in New York.
Making work that combines gender politics with minimalism, Hammond’s first solo exhibition in Europe includes early works alongside recent large-scale paintings.
