The Art Car Boot rides into town once again this Sunday, celebrating fifteen years – this year with a new sidekick, the Art Cycle Basket!
Both art cars and cycles will be at Granary Square, Kings Cross, and The Art Cycle Basket Fair involves artists bringing everything by bicycle, cargo bike or electric bike. Cycling artists have been picked by Art Car Boot Fair veterans Sir Peter Blake, Gavin Turk, Rachel Howard and Mat Collishaw.
The theme this year is ‘The Cross’ and WIA’re looking forward to seeing Pam Hogg, the Binnie Sisters and Juno Calypso. Artists will be selling original, exclusive artworks at just-for-the-day prices from the back of cars, from stalls and from bicycle panniers, baskets and trailers.
